I recently bought a Lediary caged ceiling fan from Amazon that's been working great for almost a year. However, the remote has suddenly stopped functioning. I've replaced the batteries, and while the remote lights up, it doesn't control the fan or light anymore. I'm puzzled about how to reset the fan since I don't have the manual. I've read that for similar fans, pressing the middle stop button does the trick, but it doesn't work for mine. Any tips? The wall switch can still turn the light on, but not the fan itself.

Have you tried turning off the breaker for the fan for a minute? It sounds odd, but it has worked for others to reset the remote. Just cut all the power to the fan and then turn it back on. It might help get the remote working again!
I’ve had a few fans with the same remote issues. It’s annoying when they just stop working. You’re not alone—sounds like a common problem with these fans even if they’re from different brands. Might be time to look into some troubleshooting guides or reach out to the manufacturer for support!
So I had a similar issue with my fan and found an online manual for a different model that helped me figure out a reset button. Now, though, my remote only controls the fan and not the light, which means I've got to switch off the wall for both! Seems like remote fans can be tricky sometimes.

I tried that, but no luck. Just got a sad face emoji to show for it!
