Looking for Recommendations on Dewalt Impact Socket Sets

I recently bought my first impact wrench and I'm in the market for some impact sockets since my current collection only has regular sockets. I found a 23-piece socket set on Home Depot's website that seems like a good deal for general DIY projects. Has anyone used this set, or can anyone suggest other impact socket options?

If you're considering other brands, I'd recommend checking out Milwaukee's Shockwave line. I have the 43-piece set and managed to score it on sale, which was awesome. Dewalt's impact sockets might work fine, but honestly, you’ll typically just need a couple of sizes for most tasks, and those often come with impact driver bit sets. If you're set on Dewalt, the DW22838 is a decent option at about $39 on Amazon.

Surprisingly, I've had great luck with some cheaper Power Torque sockets over the years using them on my DCF894 impact wrench. They held up fine when tackling stubborn rusty bolts. Just a heads up, though, I wish they'd included a 12mm socket instead of the 13mm and 22mm, since I often find myself needing it. If you're looking for alternatives, I'd suggest checking out Craftsman tools—they're a great value and I’ve found them more reliable than Dewalt's hand tools.

I just used the Dewalt set you mentioned yesterday while changing my truck’s brake rotors and they performed well. Paired with my atomic impact wrench and a breaker bar, they handled the job without a hitch! It sounds like a solid choice for weekend DIY stuff.
