I'm having a weird issue with my Metabo KT18LTX66BL track saw. It won't move forward when I push it, even though there's no indication of a jammed blade. The saw sounds normal and isn't under load, with no strange noises or burnt wood. When I pull it back and forth in the kerf I've already cut, it moves freely, so it's not like the wood is pinching it. The cuts are straight and smooth, so the blade isn't drifting either. It feels as if there's some kind of obstruction within the saw itself, but I can dry-run and everything seems fine before or after cutting. When I go back to the starting point and cut again, it works, but then the same problem comes up further down the track. I'm using a Festool track with it, and the wood is either MDF or plywood on a flat MFT style table. The plunge depth is set so it just cuts through the wood and slightly into the table.

One possibility could be that you have two tracks connected and they might not be aligning correctly. I had a similar issue where I had to chamfer the edge of my second track to make it glide smoothly. Just a thought!
Have you checked if a small splitter appears just behind the blade when you lower it? And just to be clear, the blade isn't installed backwards, right? This might happen more often than you think!
Yeah, that was my first thought too! If the blade is backwards, it still can cut, but it might also burn the wood pretty badly.
No, it's not on backwards. I made sure of that. The blade lowers without a riving knife issue, and I’m definitely not seeing any burning.
No, it's just one 1400 mm track. It actually happened while making a 350 mm cut, so I wasn’t close to the ends at all.
