I have a 6-acre property with a large stretch adjacent to a road. There are tall trees between my home and the road, but I'm looking for suggestions on what to plant near the road that can grow tall and dense in low sunlight. The areas along both sides of the road are well-shaded. I want to avoid fences or barriers that might block wildlife movement. Any advice would be appreciated!

Consider planting various species of pine trees. They can grow tall, are typically dense, and will do well in low light conditions. Just make sure to choose the right species that are suited for your area. They also provide a nice natural barrier against noise.
It might help to start with some online research on trees and bushes that reduce road noise. Remember, your location plays a huge role in what grows best, so use diagrams and local resources. If your land is flat, consider planting strategically with layers of foliage to help absorb the sound waves. Even additional buildings can act as sound barriers, so think about how you layout everything for the best noise reduction.
