I'm trying to switch out my old hardware and install a new faucet. I've watched a bunch of YouTube videos and feel pretty confident about being a first-timer with plumbing, but when I crawled under the sink, I realized there's hardly any space to fit a wrench! So I'm wondering:
1. Can a beginner really handle this job?
2. What specific wrench or tools do I need to loosen and tighten everything under there?
3. Is there anything major I should watch out for while working in such a tight spot?

A basin wrench is your best bet! It’s specifically designed for tight spaces like that. If you can't find one, check out the Rigid faucet wrench at Home Depot. And don’t worry too much about being a newbie; just remember to turn off the water first and be gentle with the connections to avoid any leaks.
You might also think about removing the top of the sink if it allows better access. But from what I see in your pic, that space looks manageable. Plus, it’s a good idea to grab a foam pad to lay on while you work; trust me, it makes a big difference!
Also, when you’re under there, make sure to wear glasses so debris doesn’t get into your eyes. Start early and take breaks as needed; it totally helps!

Great suggestion! I’ll definitely get a foam pad.
