Why Doesn’t My $640 Drill Come with a Carrying Case?

I just bought a DCH614B drill for $640, and I'm really surprised it didn't come with a carrying case or bag. Is there any reason for this? I'm looking for recommendations on how to store it securely.

Honestly, it seems like they want you to buy their specific storage solutions separately. You might want to check their website for compatible cases or just go for a generic bag that fits.

Yeah, or just grab something that's not too expensive and fits your drill well.

You’d think for that price, it would come with a case! But typically, bare tools like this one don't include a carrying bag unless you buy a complete kit with batteries and a charger. It’s kind of disappointing if you're just getting the tool alone.

Right?! It's frustrating paying so much and getting less.

If you want to save some cash, maybe just buy a duffel bag instead of a pricey case. I mean, who really wants to shell out extra for something that should be included?
