I'm looking for cement board panel siding that has a smooth finish. My house currently has 2'x1' panels with a smooth texture, but some pieces are damaged, and I'm worried that I might break a few more during my upcoming project. The problem is, every option I've seen so far has either a striated pattern or a faux-wood look, which wouldn't match. I've already tried checking places like Home Depot, Menards, Ebay, Lowes, Hamilton Builders, and Insulation4US, but I haven't had any luck finding what I need. If it turns out that smooth panels aren't available, I guess I could try to hide the textured pieces where they're less visible and hope I can handle the old ones without cracking them.

James Hardie makes smooth panel siding that comes in larger formats. You can cut it down to match the size of your current siding. Just be sure to use the right saw blade for fiber cement and take your time while cutting. It’s also a good idea to wear a mask for protection!
You might want to check out Hardie Board from Home Depot. They offer some cement siding options that have a smooth finish, which could be what you’re looking for.
I know you’re looking for smooth options, but have you thought about the backer boards that are usually used behind tiles? They often have a slight orange peel finish but might work for siding if you can position them right.
