How do I fix a gap in my gutter connectors after a storm?

I recently bought a house and noticed that my gutters have connectors that join them together. After a storm, I found a gap where the connector is only attached on one side. Is there a specific tool I need to fix this, or is it something I can do easily? I'd like to reconnect the gutters if possible. Thanks for any guidance!

I'd recommend checking out some visuals! If you can, upload a picture of what you're dealing with on imgur and share the link. It’ll make it easier for others to give you specific advice. But usually, bending the gutter a bit should allow you to zip it back into place pretty easily!

You might not need any special tools! If your gutters are plastic, they should be flexible enough to help you reconnect them. You can try bending them slightly to slide the connector back into place. If that doesn't do the trick, consider taking off a few of the soffit anchors and re-tightening them after you reconnect. Just be careful not to break anything if they're older!
