I recently moved into a new place and noticed some odd paint choices. One wall is light blue while the adjacent walls are green, and I want to repaint the blue wall green to match. Here's a picture of what I'm working with: https://imgur.com/a/6q2uvHT. My main question is: do I need to use a primer coat for this? If I don't use primer, will using less green paint achieve the same result?

You usually don't need a primer if you're just painting a wall, especially since you're trying to match a similar color. I've personally skipped primer without issues, as long as the contrast isn’t too drastic. For just one wall, go for two coats of green paint and see how it looks. You'll likely have enough paint from a gallon to cover it a few times if needed!
It kinda looks like the walls are catching different lighting, which can give off different shades. If that’s not the case, I’d recommend using a primer. Without it, the new paint might not stick well and could chip easily. I went without primer once and regretted it when I had chips in my wall after a while.
