Hey everyone! I've just kicked off my apprenticeship in electronics and communications, and I've got $1000 to splurge on tools, provided I keep the receipts. I already have some Milwaukee gear including a grinder, drill, impact driver, and reciprocating saw, plus all my hand tools from before. I'm on the lookout for what power tools to add to my arsenal, ideally waiting for some good combo bundles or Easter sales. Any suggestions?

Definitely consider getting an SDS drill! When I was doing telecom installs, mine was by far the most used tool. It'll make drilling into concrete or block walls a breeze compared to a regular hammer drill.

I have a wired SDS drill but I might need to switch to a battery-operated one. Do you think a regular drill can handle everything an SDS can?
