I just got my first house in a planned unit development, and everything inside is contractor grade, including the cabinets, which are really flimsy. We'd love to upgrade but are on a tight budget. We're considering the cabinets at Home Depot and thinking about doing the installation ourselves. Before we commit, I want to ask for recommendations—are there any other places you suggest for finding affordable yet quality cabinets?

IKEA is a great option! I had their cabinets in my condo, and initially, I was a bit skeptical about them. But after two years, I ended up really liking them! They held up well, and now I'm seriously considering them for my current kitchen too. Definitely worth checking out!
You might want to check out local ReStore for used cabinets. It’s a great way to save money. Also, don't forget about Facebook Marketplace. You can often find some good deals there!
Just a heads up, providing a budget would get you more tailored suggestions. That said, IKEA is solid if you're up for some DIY work. Just be ready for the assembly part!

Totally agree, IKEA's stuff is fantastic for the price! Their quality is way better than some ready-to-assemble options.
