Hey everyone! I'm considering upgrading my old 20V leaf blower model DCBL720B (which has about 400 CFM and 90 MPH) to a newer model, the DCBL772X1. This new one is on sale at Home Depot for $300, and it comes with a 60V battery and an extra free 60V battery! The new blower has significantly higher specs at 600 CFM and 125 MPH. My question is: will this upgrade definitely help with leaf clearing and even picking up dirt or small stones from the road?

Honestly, it depends on your needs. I used to have the previous 60V DeWalt model, and while it is powerful, it’s incredibly loud and burns through 6AH batteries in about 15 minutes. If you regularly use the higher CFM, it might be worth it, but I don't think the upgrade offers enough benefits over the 20V unless you have plenty of FlexVolt batteries to swap out. Just consider how often you’ll really need all that power!
I made the jump to the 60V blower last fall, and it made a huge difference compared to the 20V. Yes, it does munch through batteries, but for me, it was 100% worth the upgrade!
I just picked up the 60V blower with that same deal, and trust me, it’s a powerhouse! The extra 9AH battery they included really makes a difference. I'm super happy with my purchase.

That's a good point. Do I really need a new blower? But getting (2) 60V batteries for $300 is a sweet deal since those usually cost $250 each.
