Need Advice on Watering Newly Seeded Grass Without a Hose

Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing great! ? I need some advice on reseeding a small patch of grass (about 6M x 6M) in my front garden that's been overtaken by weeds and moss due to the previous owner's neglect. The local garden center suggested I use Miracle Gro 4 in 1 Lawn and their Speedy Grass Seeds. We cut the grass short and raked out a lot of moss and thatch on Tuesday. They advised us to apply the Miracle Gro this Saturday, wait a week for the weeds and moss to die off, rake again, and then use a watering can with a fine rose tip to dampen the lawn. After that, we'll spread the Speedy Seeds and water again to make sure they're well covered. The issue is that we don't have a garden hose, and installing one is not an option, so I was wondering if it's feasible to do all the watering with just a pump sprayer (set to rain) and a watering can? I know it needs to be watered twice daily and to ensure we cover the entire area. My partner will be helping, but I imagine it'll be quite the workout! Thanks a lot!

I honestly think using just a watering can might not be enough to get a good soak, especially since you need to water so frequently. Is there any way you could run a hose from an indoor tap? That could save you a lot of hassle and ensure the grass gets enough water. Otherwise, be prepared to work hard with that can and spray!

Yeah, I totally get that it might be tough without a hose! Just make sure you really saturate the area with what you have, maybe even plan to do it in cooler times of the day so the water doesn't evaporate. Good luck!
