Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for an angle grinder mainly to sharpen my mower blades, but I want something versatile for future home projects as well, like cutting tile. There's just so much out there, and I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed. Any recommendations?

I just picked up the Milwaukee M18 angle grinder, and while it's a beast, it might be overkill for what you're looking to do. If you're just sharpening blades and occasionally tackling some DIY projects, you might want to consider something simpler like a $20 corded model from Harbor Freight. It'll get the job done without breaking the bank!
For a bit more power, the new 3672 variable speed version is nice and only around $175. It's more powerful than the previous models, and the variable speed is super handy for different tasks. But if it's mostly for mower blades, something more basic should work just fine!
If you don't specifically need a cordless model, I highly recommend sticking with a corded angle grinder. They offer consistent power without the hassle of batteries, which can drain quickly. For your needs, a 4" or 5" Makita or Dewalt corded grinder would be perfect and will last you ages!

Thanks for the tips! I’m definitely leaning towards something not too complicated.
