What Sweet Tomatoes Should I Grow If I Don’t Like Tomatoes?

I've never been a fan of tomatoes and avoid eating them in anything, from pizza to ketchup. But this year, I've decided I want to change that! I plan to start growing my own tomatoes because I've heard they taste so much better fresh from the garden. I'm leaning towards cherry tomatoes, but I'm open to suggestions for a good first tomato variety, especially ones that are sweet. I prefer sweeter flavors—I only drink wine if it tastes like juice! Any advice would be appreciated!

You might also want to consider pineapple tomatoes. They’re sweet and have a fruity flavor that might be more up your alley, especially if you’re not fond of the typical tomato taste. Give them a shot!

I recommend trying Sweet 100s. They’re tasty and rewarding to grow. You might also like yellow pears or patio cherries; they’re usually sweeter than most. Once you taste a homegrown tomato, you might find you actually like them! Good luck!

Thanks for the tips! I'll look into those varieties for sure.

Sungold cherry tomatoes are a fantastic choice! They're super sweet and easy to grow. If you can find them at a nursery, definitely grab one or two—they're delicious!
