I'm looking for a place to purchase an empty case for the Milwaukee 5518-21 1 3/4 SDS rotary hammer. If anyone has suggestions for alternative hard cases besides the stock one, I'm all ears! Thanks in advance!

Try checking eBay or local supply houses. You might get lucky and find something there!
You might want to reach out to Milwaukee directly for options. They should be able to help you with part numbers or where to buy it.
That's my plan for Monday! I was hoping someone might already have a part number for the case.
