I recently heard about someone whose planters got stolen right from their front yard. It made me wonder—are gardeners really that desperate for nice planters, or is there something odd about the area? Like, who actually goes around stealing planters? This is just too wild to believe!

It’s kinda wild, but some folks will swipe anything they think they can sell. There are definitely thieves out there who just enjoy stealing for kicks, and some might be struggling with mental health issues too. Honestly, it could be a mix of all these reasons.
Funny you say that! I once had a neighbor's mom steal some of my plants. She thought it would be a nice surprise for her son after he moved back in with her. Total chaos when she got caught!
It's prime season for garden stuff thefts! People often grab tools and planters because they can flip them fast on social media marketplaces. I even heard about a guy in a uniform shutting off sprinkler systems for free, only to disappear with the backflow units! Some thieves will even pull plants straight from the ground if they look good.

That's valid! I didn't think gardeners would act like that. All the ones I know are super chill. Maybe there are just extreme gardeners out there going all Mad Max for better gear!
