Is $200 Fair for Weed Removal?

I was quoted $200 by my landscaper to spray weeds on a 2,500 sq ft hill area. Before I commit, I wanted to check if this is a reasonable price. Also, can we tackle this weed problem ourselves instead of hiring someone?

For sure, it’s completely doable! If you want to make it easier, you could use a weeder tool and maybe have some fun with your dad while at it. Plus, you'll save some money!

Sounds like a solid plan! I’ll bring the beers! ?

The $200 price tag might be high for just spraying. If you're planning on removing the weeds anyway, consider doing it all yourself. A 32oz bottle of weed killer can be found for around $5 and can cover a large area. Just remember that spraying is just part of the process — you’ll need to get rid of the roots eventually too!

Yeah, you can definitely handle it yourself! Most people find it easy and it gives you control over what you spray and what you prefer to leave alone. Just grab some good weed spray and you’re good to go!

Definitely go for the DIY route! With the right products, you can do it all yourself and it won't take much effort at all.
