Is It Too Early to Sow Cosmos Seeds Outside?

Hey everyone! I just cleared out a patch of weeds and I'm itching to scatter some cosmos and dahlia seeds directly in my garden today. The weather seems nice, and I doubt there's any snow coming. But since the seeds are a bit outdated, I'm wondering if there's any chance they'll grow if I plant them now. What do you think?

I'd advise against planting them right now. Even though it feels warm, don't let that fool you! There's a good chance of a cold snap that could ruin your seeds. Maybe consider starting them indoors?

If you're thinking of tossing the seeds anyway since they’re outdated, it might not matter much! But starting them indoors could still give you a better shot at success.
