I'm curious about the toughest parts of vegetable gardening for everyone. Personally, I've found that running out of garden space is a real struggle for me. What about you? What do you find to be the most difficult issues to tackle?

Weeds, weeding, and more weeding! It's like a never-ending battle. I’ve tried cover crops and mulching but those weeds keep coming back. Sometimes I feel like the only thing I grow well is the weeds!
Honestly, keeping up with watering is a constant struggle. It’s not easy to find that balance between under- and over-watering. I feel like I’m constantly guessing—and sometimes, I can’t tell if my plants need more water or if they’re just wilting from the heat!
Right? I thought I had a handle on it, but every season seems to throw some curveballs. I keep a moisture meter for the garden beds now to avoid overwatering.
Pests and diseases are definitely a big challenge. Between dealing with spider mites, aphids, and slugs, it feels like I’m fighting a losing battle some days. Every year, I end up with new pests and diseases to manage, and it can be overwhelming!
Totally relate! I never knew how many pests existed until I started gardening. Last year, the raccoons destroyed my garden, so I'm trying new strategies this year.

For real! I’ve taken to just pulling weeds when I’m watering, which helps a bit. But those stubborn ones? Ugh, they drive me nuts!
