Hey everyone! I'm curious about what size pots are typically used for small succulents. Would a diameter of 5-8cm work well, or is there a better range?

I usually go for pots that are around 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter for my small succulents. I sometimes use even smaller ones for tiny plants like conophytums, but I have a few larger ones too. Just make sure the pots are the right size for the roots!

Are you talking about the inner diameter of the pot or the outer one?

It really varies depending on your plant! A good guideline is that the root ball should fill about half to two-thirds of the pot's volume. This way, the plant has enough room to grow without being too cramped.
