Best Way to Cut Plywood at 45 Degrees with Limited Tools?

Hey folks, I need some help figuring out how to cut a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood at a 45-degree angle. The only power tools I have on hand are a circular saw and a miter saw. If it's too challenging for me to do with these tools, could anyone recommend a place that might do it for me? Thanks!

If you're looking to cut the plywood into triangles, just mark your lines and use a straight edge with your circular saw. For a bevel cut, it should work fine with your circular saw. But if it doesn't, you can build a simple jig from some scrap wood to hold the saw at the angle you need. That way, you'll get a precise cut!

Thanks for the tip! I definitely meant a bevel cut, so I’ll try making that jig.

Make sure your circular saw can adjust the angle! If it can, clamp a straightedge to the plywood to guide you, and you’ll be good to go. Just take your time!

If you want a smoother cut, make sure you’re using the right blade for your circular saw. Just lay the sheet down on sawhorses, mark your cut, and carefully follow the line. That's usually all it takes!
