Hey everyone! Just wanted to share that I'm fully invested in the Dewalt 20v XR lineup (with over 30 tools so far!), but recently I've dipped my toes into the M12 line and I'm really enjoying it. I'm a hobbyist and DIY enthusiast who runs a mobile headlight restoration service, so I've been using a variety of tools for wet sanding, polishing, and clear coating. I'm curious about which M12 tools others have found to be invaluable. Currently, I own a Gen 2 3/8" stubby, a detail sander, a brushless rotary tool, a T50 stapler, and a few Fuel ratchets, along with an M12 2-gallon sprayer. I've been eyeing the M12 sander/polisher and the installation driver, but I'm leaning towards brushless options. I'm also interested in the M12 bandfile, but the price has me hesitant since Dewalt's 20v version packs more power. Any other M12 (preferably Fuel) tools you recommend?

You've got a solid lineup! I gotta say, the M12 lighting solutions are top-notch. The underhood light is one of my favorites, especially with the color temperature variation. Perfect for those detailed jobs!
I heard there’s a brushless 20v right angle grinder/polisher coming out soon from Dewalt, so maybe hold off on the M12 sander for now. Could be a game changer!
Honestly, with the tools you have, it feels like you’re set! Maybe think about how you can invest that money into future projects or your kids instead!
If you're looking for something really versatile, the M12 installation driver is amazing! It's lightweight with swappable heads, which makes it super easy to use without tiring your arms. Definitely worth considering!
The M12 cutoff tool is a lifesaver for me. But if you already have the Dewalt 20v 3" cutoff tool, you might not need the M12. I went that route too until Dewalt released theirs. The power and efficiency is fantastic!

Totally get that! If you're already invested in Dewalt's 20v line, it makes sense to stick with it, especially if it’s doing the job! I'd just keep an eye out for any new M12 offerings.
