I'm heading out for a 10-day trip and I'm worried about my mums. I recently potted them after propagating in water, and they tend to droop if they miss just a couple of days without water. I can't just leave them sitting in a bowl of water the whole time. Are there any reliable tricks I can use to help keep them alive while I'm gone? Also, I'd like to do something for my other mums and begonias if possible. Thanks in advance!

Have you thought about giving your mums a good watering right before you leave? Another idea is to put them in your bathroom with little to no light. This may not be their favorite spot, but it could help them survive while you're away.

Is keeping them in the bathroom safe? They usually hang out by the window. What could happen if they don’t get any light?
