Hey everyone! I'm excited to share that I'll be receiving eighteen IQ8 Enphase microinverters for free! I'm dreaming about setting up a ground-mounted solar array about 400-500 feet away from my house. Based on some rough calculations, I think I'll need around 36 panels to meet my future solar energy needs. Right now, I have a fuel-powered hot water heater and furnace, so I'm planning to expand to 36 panels later on. I want to hold off on ordering panels until I have the inverters in hand, but I'm thinking about buying a wholesale pallet of panels from US Solar. Has anyone had experience with them or have suggestions on how I should proceed? I'm located on the West Coast!

I highly recommend checking out Enphase University. It’s free and you can become your own installer. Learning how the Enphase components work together will really help you with your installation planning. It made a huge difference for my DIY setup!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely check it out.
