A few years back, I had the living room and hallways sanded and refinished, but I've been putting off the bedrooms due to the hassle. Has anyone managed to get this done while still living in the home? I'd love to tackle all three bedrooms at once to minimize disruption, but I'm uncertain about what to do with my stuff. Should we consider getting a hotel during the process? I'd appreciate any tips or experiences!

It might be a bit of a hassle, but it’s definitely doable! Consider using barriers over the doorways to keep the dust contained. You can rent them from places like Home Depot or Lowe's. Also, I recommend getting an edger for a cleaner finish. Just don’t get too obsessed with fixing every little dent; you could end up reducing the floor's integrity and making it creaky.
It really depends on your space and how many people are living there. If you can set up a temporary bedroom in your living or dining room, that's a good option for getting all the bedrooms done at once. Just be prepared to possibly clear everything out for a night when they do the clear coating since the smell can be strong. Overall, it should only take a few days!
We have three bedrooms, all in use, and no dining room, but the living room is pretty spacious. I'm just trying to figure out how to manage all our stuff during the process.

I'm definitely going to hire someone to do the job! Just trying to sort out how to move my furniture around in the meantime.
