I'm planning to caulk the edges of my window frame since I've got a bit of an ant problem out here in the woods. Before I dive in, I wanted to know if it's okay to stick around and go about my business while the caulk dries. I'm not keen on inhaling any toxic fumes, and I can't open the window because, you know, ants! I do have the ceiling fan on to help, but I'm pretty close to the wall. Just seeking some advice here!

I get where you're coming from about the ants! But opening the window to help ventilate shouldn't really affect the caulk unless you're applying it right there. Just make sure the area is well-ventilated overall. If it helps, you could put a little fan near the window to blow out any fumes without fully opening it.
It’s understandable that you're cautious about fumes! Generally, if the area is well-ventilated (like with your ceiling fan), you should be fine to stay inside. Just keep an eye on how strong the smell is and step out for fresh air if it gets too overwhelming. Good luck with the caulking!

That’s a good tip! I’ll definitely set up a fan to help with ventilation.
