I bought a house almost a year ago, and I'm looking for advice on how to update the exterior. I'm considering lime washing the yellow brick and painting the siding white with black trim and doors. I also plan to install black seamless gutters. So far, I've only replaced the roof. I'm open to any other suggestions too!

To me, the brick looks more tan than yellow. I like it, but I’m not a fan of the garage door color. There are definitely ways to enhance the look while still embracing the brick's current vibe!
I actually kind of like the brick as it is! But I agree, the window trim could use a refresh; it looks a bit dirty. You could go either way with black or white for the trim. Personally, I think it would pop more with black!
Yeah, this summer I'm planning to finish up the exterior after putting on a new roof and replacing plumbing. My funds took a hit, so I'm hoping to keep it budget-friendly!
Limewash is a fantastic idea! It's affordable and makes for a great DIY project. Just keep in mind that limewash can get semi-transparent when it rains, so if you want more solid coverage, you might want to check out Sherwin Williams masonry paint instead. And don't worry about people saying painting brick harms it; just follow the prep steps, and you’ll be good!

I don’t mind the brick either, just a bit puzzled about what to do with the trim and doors. I appreciate the feedback!
