I'm planning to set up a solar system to power a fan in my hobby greenhouse. I realize that this might not be the most cost-effective choice compared to just using electricity from my home, but I've got some obstacles to that option. The greenhouse is mainly for my enjoyment rather than saving money. I'm looking at a setup with a 120w fan that I'd like to run all night. I live in a sunny area and I'm considering using a 200w solar panel, a 12v 100Ah lithium battery, a 12v 400w inverter, and a 20amp/12v controller, along with the necessary wiring. Can anyone tell me if this setup is suitable, overkill, or if you have any other suggestions?

What fan are you using and what climate do you live in? There are ceiling vents that open automatically, and you might have other windows. Is the fan for your comfort or to help the plants? Shade cloth is also great to have. Just making sure we're tackling the right issue here!

I'm looking to cool both myself and the plants! I live in a subtropical area with auto-opening vents and a door that's usually open. The shade cloth helps but on some days, it's still 100°F or more. I currently have two small fans running off a 12v panel, but they're not providing enough airflow.
