I'm looking for some recommendations on easy houseplants for a beginner. What plants do you think are the best ones to start with, considering they need to be low-maintenance and forgiving?

Definitely go for pothos or spider plants! They're super forgiving and can really thrive even if you forget to care for them sometimes. Just water them when they look a bit droopy, and they’re fine with a variety of indirect sunlight. You’ll end up with gorgeous long vines too!
I’d also suggest snake plants and ZZ plants. They're basically indestructible and look really stylish in any room. Plus, they don’t need a ton of light or water, so you can’t go wrong with them!
Totally agree! I have both and they’re hard to kill. Love watching them grow!
