I'm shifting away from my rigid subcompact tools and looking to dive into the M12 line. I found a Gen 1 stubby on Facebook for $140 (tool only), but I'm wondering if I should hold out for the harder-to-find Gen 2 or if this is a decent deal. Would I regret not spending the extra cash for the Gen 2?

Honestly, $140 seems steep for a Gen 1, especially if it's used. I sold mine for just $75 when I upgraded to the Gen 2. I’d recommend holding out for a sale on the Gen 2 instead.

It's new but yeah, if that's what they go for used I should just hold off. Thanks!
Edit: if you had to give a percentage improvement from the Gen 1 to Gen 2 what would it be?
