Hey everyone! I've been researching ways to lower the pH of my soil, particularly for growing blueberries and citrus. I know there are additives like sulfur that can help, but I was wondering if there's any actual plant I could companion plant with my blueberries that might lower the surrounding soil pH. Everything I find online only mentions additives, so I'm curious if anyone has tried this or has any insights!

Unfortunately, companion planting alone won't really lower pH. It’s more about adding things like compost or manure. I’m dealing with clay soil, which is a bit acidic already, but I just mulch with grass clippings and compost to keep my plants happy. Make sure your blueberries have good drainage too—they really don’t like to sit in water.

Thanks for the info! So do you just spread your grass clippings right on top after mowing? And do you check your soil's pH often?
