What’s the Best Way to Fix a Gap Between My Oven Cabinet and the Wall?

I've noticed a gap between my oven cabinet and the wall, and while my husband insists it's sturdy, it doesn't seem to be flush against the wall. I'm wondering if it's best to just get some trim to cover the gap, or if there might be a better solution to fix the issue instead. Here's a picture to show the problem: https://imgur.com/a/TOF5R4V

With wall ovens adding a lot of weight, it's crucial to ensure your cabinet is securely mounted. Double-check to make sure it's actually attached to the wall studs at several points. Ideally, you should have it anchored in at least 4 to 6 places to keep it stable.

It sounds like your cabinet is indeed pulling away from the wall. I recommend emptying out the cabinet and checking how much movement there is when you try to push it back against the wall. That will give you a better idea of what's going on.

Has this issue been there since you moved in, or is it a new development?

Yes, it’s been like this ever since we moved in three years ago.
