Looking for a Blade to Cut Melamine Cleanly with My Kreg Track Saw

I really enjoy using my Kreg track saw, but I've come across a problem when trying to cut melamine. As a casual woodworker, I don't need anything too fancy, but I'm hoping to find a suitable blade. Specifically, I'm looking for an 80-tooth melamine cutting blade that fits my Kreg saw. I've noticed that the cuts aren't coming out clean, leaving little ticks and rough edges. Has anyone found a blade that does a good job or can suggest better techniques?

Hey! I totally get your struggle with melamine not cutting cleanly. Have you thought about scoring the surface before making the full cut? A light pass can help manage those rough edges. As for blades, look for a fine-toothed melamine blade designed for track saws; it should improve your results. Good luck!

I had the same issue! Scoring really helped the surface finish. You might want to check out the Freud 80-tooth blade—worked wonders for me!
