I'm curious to know what fruits or vegetables you've found to be the hardest to cultivate. Are there any that have given you particular trouble?

A lot of people seem to struggle with brassicas. They can be amazing growers when everything's perfect, but man, there's so much that can go wrong! It's like a test of patience with those.

Totally agree! The pests and weather can really ruin your plans with them.

Celery is a nightmare out in the desert. It just doesn’t thrive in that kind of heat.

For me, it's definitely zucchini and squash. Living close to a river, those large leaf plants attract powdery mildew like crazy. I also have bad luck with peppers, just can't figure them out!

Same here! The humidity is killer for those in Mississippi; between that and the vine borers, it's a struggle!

I've had my fair share of challenges with asparagus and citrus trees. They act like they're thriving one minute, then suddenly decide they don't like me anymore!
