Hey everyone! I'm based in Michigan and I'm on the hunt for a 5000W inverter that can charge 48V LiFePO4 batteries. It's really important that the inverter is UL certified or certified by an equivalent body like NRLT. I've run into a bit of a snag since Eco-worthy inverters don't meet this certification, and my solar project can't move forward until I find something that a licensed electrician is willing to install. Companies like Generac won't sell their products unless you're a certified installer, which adds to the challenge. Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated!

The EG4 6000XP might be more than you need, but it is UL certified and could be a solid choice for your setup. It has a great reputation for reliability, too!
Have you checked out the Growatt SPF5000-US? It needs a mid-point transformer for split-phase 240V, but it’s reasonably priced and also UL certified. Signature Solar stocks all the necessary components too!
You might want to look into Victron products. They have a strong reputation, and you can find UL certifications on their website. Retailers like Inverters R US sell them, and you can buy without needing a business license. Definitely worth checking out!
It’s odd that Eco-worthy lacks UL certification. They may have other certifications, but it’s best to verify that. Victron also makes a 5000W inverter; just double-check if it meets UL standards before buying!

I wouldn't say it's too much power for your needs. It sounds like just the kind of thing you’re looking for!
