I'm really eager to start gardening and I'm wondering if it's a good time to plant my seed potatoes. Can I go ahead and plant them now in Zone 6a? Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Definitely go for it! Just make sure to keep an eye on the weather. I planted mine on March 22 in 7b Maryland and they’re doing great!

I've already planted mine and I've got one more frost warning coming up, but I doubt they'll be above the soil by then. So I think it's a safe bet!

I planted mine last week at 9,200' elevation, and I’m not worried at all. I used some sprouting Idaho potatoes I had on hand. Last year with the same kind of potatoes, I was surprised by how many I harvested from my small 2x2 box!

Absolutely! If you're feeling the urge to dig in the dirt, now's a great time. What are you waiting for?
