Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a good pooper scooper for cleaning up dog feces in my yard. Ideally, I'm looking for one with a long handle that has a clamp you can squeeze to open and let go to close. I've seen a lot of options on Amazon, but many of them are too short, which makes cleaning a pain for my back since I have to bend over a lot. Also, I've found that plastic clamps often break easily and don't grip well, requiring multiple attempts to pick up the waste. Does anyone know of a sturdy, durable product that's at least 3 feet long? I appreciate any recommendations, and I'm sure my back would too if it could write this message!

That sounds creative! It's definitely a unique solution. Just make sure it’s clean enough to use!
I actually repurposed a trash can I found next to Burger King and paired it with a small rake from Farm and Fleet. It lets me clean up a bunch without bending down constantly.
I actually use a little rake with a scoop, and it saves me from bending over! It works pretty well. You can check one out [here](https://a.co/d/2WF0yS6). It might be just what you're looking for, without the back strain.
I found a great pooper scooper at Tractor Supply. It works like a charm and has a sturdy handle. You can check it out [here](https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/groundwork-plastic-bedding-fork-with-black-coating-hardwood-handle).
That looks nice! Just wondering, how do you handle disposal? Do you need to carry a trash can or something while you scoop? I thought using a one-handed scooper along with a garbage bag might be more efficient.

That does sound like a solid option, but my only concern is that a rake might pick up other debris too, which could fill up the bags quickly.
