I've been wondering whether fully draining my forge batteries before charging them really affects their lifespan. Does anyone else do this, and is there any solid advice on the best practices for maintaining these batteries?

From what I've heard, fully draining pouch-based batteries doesn't really affect their longevity all that much compared to older types. These newer batteries are built to be pretty reliable. However, one thing to keep in mind with Milwaukee batteries is their balancing issues. To avoid the risk of damaging a cell, it's probably better not to let the battery drain completely before charging.
