What Should I Do About Mold in My Vents?

Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a bit of a nightmare here—I found mold in all my vents! I've noticed two vents in particular that are pretty bad, but it seems like every vent has some sort of mold. I'm concerned about how serious this issue is and what steps I should take next. Can someone help me identify if this is really mold and what I should do? It might just be dirt, but it doesn’t look great. You definitely want to keep an eye on it. Moisture can lead to bigger problems. Make sure to inspect everything closely!

Yeah, that definitely looks like mold. I recommend cleaning it out with some vinegar—just make sure not to mix it with bleach! You can also use a shop vac to get rid of it, but double-check that it has a bag in it to keep the spores from spreading.

Thanks for the tip! Also, any idea how tough the vents are? I’m worried about tearing them while cleaning.
