I'm working from home and want to keep a succulent on my desk, but since I have a cat, placing it on the window sill isn't an option. Can anyone suggest succulents that thrive indoors with indirect light? I do have a small grow light, though I'm not sure how effective it is for providing sufficient light. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

If you’re looking for low-light options that are also safe for cats, try Haworthia or Gasteria. The Zebra plant is also a good choice since it’s pretty hardy and can handle lower light conditions. Just adding a little extra light can really help them thrive!
Most succulents typically need a lot of direct sunlight, either from outside or from high-quality grow lights. However, there are a few types that can manage with less intense light, like Haworthia and Sansevieria. If you want one on your desk, consider getting a good grow bulb for a desk lamp facing down. Brands like Sansi, Barrina, and GE Seeds & Greens have worked well for others in this community!
