Should I Round the Edge of My New Countertop for Safety?

I'm getting a new countertop that will match my existing one, which has 90-degree edges. I've been considering rounding the corner near the main walkway a bit, even though I'm not a fan of rounded edges. My thought was that it might be safer for young kids and guests running around. However, I've heard mixed opinions on this, and I'm open to just using some foam around the edge until the kids grow up. What do you all think? Should I go for the rounded edge or stick with the straight 90-degree angle?

I’d recommend easing all the corners! It can help make any bumps less painful, especially for little ones. Safety first, right? Plus, it gives a more finished look to your kitchen.

What do you mean by easing? Like, fillet the edges or chamfer them?
