I've always had a fear of spiders, and now that I've started collecting houseplants, I've encountered them in my monstera deliciosa. It's been a week of discovering these little guys, and it has me genuinely terrified. I know they can be beneficial for the plants, but I really want to know how I can get rid of them safely. Any tips on how to do this without hurting my plants?

I get it, arachnophobia is no joke! But don’t feel silly for being scared; it’s a real thing! Just remember that these spiders are generally harmless and they can actually help keep pests away. If you want to give them a ride instead of pushing them, just be careful!
Don’t panic! Most spiders are just as scared of you as you are of them. If you can avoid bothering them, they usually won’t bite. But if you really want to move them, try using a small art brush to gently push them away without harming your plants.
Totally understand the fear! One time I had jumping spiders too, and I felt the same way. They might look scary, but they're not out to get you. You could simply relocate them to somewhere else in your house, just be gentle!
