Should I Use Bags or Buckets to Grow Potatoes?

I'm new to growing potatoes and I'm debating whether to use bags or buckets for the best results. I have a south-facing area where some will be on a concrete patio and others in the dirt. I'm worried about them either drying out or getting waterlogged, especially since I sometimes leave for 4 days in the summer. I'm contemplating trying both methods to see which one works better for me. Any advice?

I haven't had much luck with grow bags—they tended to dry out too quickly. Instead, I use 5-gallon buckets and drill holes in them. I also hill up the soil with straw, and it has really boosted my yields!
