I currently own all three Lie-Nielsen Boggs spokeshaves and use them quite a bit. However, I'm interested in trying out other brands, especially higher-end spokeshaves. Does anyone have recommendations for different options that go beyond the many 151 knock-offs?

For something modern, you might want to look at the Melbourne Tool Company spokeshaves—they have a slick design. I've seen good feedback about their performance after a quick sharpen, but I can't vouch for them from personal use yet!
If you're up for a little DIY, check out the Veritas Spokeshave Kit. You can craft your own spokeshave to perfectly fit your style! It even comes with a predrilled block if you want to skip the tricky angles, and you can customize the handle shape however you like. I made one recently, and it works great for my grip!
I've heard good things about HNT Gordon spokeshaves. I haven’t tried them myself, but they seem to get decent reviews in the community. Worth checking out!

Thanks, I’ll definitely look them up!
