I'm getting a new roof and they're replacing the plywood on the roof. I've noticed that there are no holes in the plywood directly above my soffits, which are supposed to let air into the attic. Is this how it's supposed to be?

If you're cutting holes above your soffit vents, that's not usually recommended. The soffit should be vented out, and ideally, you shouldn’t need holes in the plywood. It looks like you’ve already done some work there, so just keep an eye on airflow and make sure everything’s working as it should!
It's actually pretty common that there aren't any holes in the plywood itself above the soffits. The airflow should be coming from the soffit vents below, not the roof deck. So, as long as the soffits are properly vented, you should be good. But definitely double-check with your roofers to be sure!

Just to add, if you ever notice issues with ventilation later, you might check to see if there are any blockages in those soffit vents.
