Growing Wildflowers in Containers on a Sixth Floor Balcony – Is It Possible?

I'm considering growing wildflowers in containers on my sixth floor balcony, which is in zone 6. The balcony faces south, getting plenty of light, and has a glass railing that shelters it from the wind. Honestly, I'm quite new to gardening and I'm hoping to just sprinkle some wildflower seeds in the containers and let them grow with minimal upkeep, aside from watering. Is this realistic?

Absolutely, give it a try! Wildflowers can be really forgiving and adaptable, especially if you've got good sunlight.

Yes, you can definitely do this! For an easy start, I recommend trying seeds like cosmos or zinnias. They're both pretty easy to manage and look fantastic!

God I love both of those. How exciting!
