I'm looking to replace the wood on my children's swing set since it's getting old and isn't safe anymore. I'm not sure what kind of wood to use or where I can find it. Any suggestions would be super helpful!

'Replacing the wood' is pretty vague! What exactly do you plan to repair? Are you thinking of changing everything out while keeping the hardware intact?
Most likely, you're going to want to go with pressure treated lumber. It's tough and lasts a long time against the elements. You should be able to find it at Home Depot or a similar store nearby.
Consider #2 pressure treated or ground contact pine. First, check if the wood is actually rotting or if it just looks worn out. It's also important to inspect the hardware connection points to see how the swing set is unsafe.
