Hey everyone! I'm just starting my plant-growing journey and I'm really excited about it. I'm looking for a plant that would be a great fit for a beginner like me. Specifically, I want something that grows quickly, is easy to care for, and is non-toxic to cats. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch!

The spider plant is definitely a solid choice. Pothos is another great option—it grows fast and is pretty easy for beginners. Just keep in mind that pothos is mildly toxic to cats, so if that's a concern, maybe stick with the spider plant instead!

I actually began my plant journey with pothos! They have different types, and they propagate easily if you decide to expand your collection. Just be cautious because they can be toxic to cats, so I lean more towards spider plants for safety, especially if you have curious kitties around!

Yeah, that’s valid! I think if you really want something safe, spider plants are the way to go. Just keep it high enough that the cats can’t sneak a bite!

I totally recommend starting with a spider plant! They're super easy to care for, grow quickly, and are non-toxic to cats. Plus, they look great in any space! Good luck!
