I ordered a kitchen sink and faucet combo from Home Depot yesterday with the expectation of next day delivery, but there aren't any stores nearby that have it in stock. This morning, my order is still just showing as "processed" without any shipping updates, and I'm worried it might be delayed. For those who have used Home Depot's delivery service, especially when items are not available at local stores, is next day delivery actually reliable? Will I have to wait longer? I really need this sink and faucet because mine are leaking badly!

In my experience, Home Depot's delivery can sometimes take an extra day. I’ve never had it go missing for more than the quoted time, but it might depend on your location. If you’re near a lot of stores, it might be more reliable than if you’re out in the sticks!
Home Depot's delivery is hit or miss for me, to be honest. Sometimes it’s right on time, but there have been instances where I waited longer than expected due to inventory issues. If things go sideways, don’t hesitate to reach out to their support for more info.
Yeah, holidays can definitely throw a wrench in the works for deliveries.
I’m worried about the Easter holiday delaying things even further!
They often outsource to companies like Instacart, so I wouldn’t count on them being super prompt with next day delivery unless it’s crucial. If you can, maybe give them a little nudge by calling customer service. They might be able to speed things up or at least give you a clearer timeline.
I guess I can live with a small delay, but I really need this fixed... I have buckets under my sink right now!
For big items, like your sink, they usually send an HD truck, but it seems smaller stuff can be tricky.

Fingers crossed it’s coming from a distribution center nearby!
